Shawn Carter is a comedian originally from Boston, Massachusetts. He is known for his everyman sensibilities and sharp joke-writing abilities. He has been delighting audiences in comedy clubs, Elks Lodges, and Theatres for almost 20 years now with stories and jokes are drawn from his everyday life. Shawn talks about everything from new car features, parenthood, pet ownership, personal intimacy, and married life.
Shawn is the founder of the Blue Ridge Comedy Club. He's been featured in the Boston Globe, West End Comedy Festival, Cleveland Comedy Festival, and the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas.
In 2023 he released his comedy album “Boston to Bristol” through the record label Blonde Medicine. Boston to Bristol debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy Chart and video clips from the recording quickly went viral racking up millions of views on-line.
Shawn has opened for such well known comedians as Deon Cole, Orny Adams, and Joe DeRosa.
Shawn co-hosts the Blue Ridge Comedy Podcast, and created the Pick a Side Stupid Podcast and Live Show
